@TrollOvGrimness erm however, since shamans bequeath the spirits to dispel their han it is understood that shamans be fearless, and accept the company of any spirits, since it is their destiny to act as intercessors? between this world and chaos. shamans do not ‘protect’ themselves from ‘evil’ entities, as they age in their shaman professions they invite more and more spirits to be present often creating lasting bonds
@TrollOvGrimness Not to shock anybody but Korean shamanism stems from ancestor worship. However, the place of after life is a realm of chaos, so it is better understood as ‘whatever is floating around’. This could be friends or loved ones who died of tragic accidents, passed family members, or just loose souls. I like to think of it as whatever was around at the time,? that is what communes with you. This is generally understood as dangerous since it often results in psychosis
@TrollOvGrimness Being a shaman is not? peaceful, and goody goody.. there is deep catharsis, weeping.. It is more like lament than ‘love’. Feelings of love come, but that is through the release of extreme pain and sadness.
Please do research into korean shamanism. “Kut Happiness Through Reciprocity”.? Underpinning all interactions traditional to the nation of Korea is mutual exchange. I’m… not sure about this video but certainly for the nation of Korea, and their traditional shamanism which has existed for many centuries, people who become shamans are in dire straights. This is antithetical to people familiar with reiki because, although becoming a shaman is healing, and cathartic, there is great need.

@illustratz You are absolutely right – if you are a beginner and don´t know much about reiki, it´s really not easy to distinguish between charlatans and others… for me as a reiki practitioner and teacher, this is very, very sad…
